This beach is nestled into a cove which gives the sense of absolute privacy and intimacy. (It also offers some shelter from the wind!). A lovely easily navigated path winds through the trees to take you from the parking lot on 101 down to the beach. (It's about a 15 minute walk)
On route to the beach, you'll cross this romantic bridge to go over the creek. We suggest you stop here on the way out to snap a picture. Who knows? Maybe you'll get your new hubby to gallantly carry you across it!
This beach is popular with surf and boogie-borders, so it can get busy on weekends in the summer. However, we've discovered a private nook that is very secluded that is perfect for your intimate wedding ceremony. the rocks form a ring around the tiny area, offering a perfect place (towering rocks behind us, with a breathtaking view of the Pacific stretching before us!) to have your elopement ceremony performed. However, this little nook goes underwater at high tide, so we'll need to time your ceremony accordingly.
Please note that this site incurs an additional $30 fee added to the Elopement Ceremony due to the extra time involved for us to get to the site. If you prefer an equally lovely site with no additional fee, then please see our page on Hug Point.
No permit is required for this site as long as nothing is set up (such as chairs, an arch, etc.)
